Light house and a walk in national park Mu Ko Lanta
The unique jewel of Ko Lanta is local light house which is situated at the southern tip of the island called Ta Noad Cape. The whole area of south Ko Lanta is a part of Thai Lanta Marine National Park – Mu Ko Lanta and you can find here some of rare evergreen woody species which are to find also in Brasilian tropical rain forests. Left side from the light house there are sheer limestone rocks going straight into the Andaman sea. Right side is lined with white sandy beaches where you can relax and enjoy the privacy together with company of lovely monkies which live here plentifully. For those who like to be active there is a 3 km long walk in the rain forest with view of the light house. The entrance fee to the park is about 200 THB.
