Railay Bay Beach in Krabi
Popular 1-2 day trip from Ko Lanta to Krabi by boat. Fabulous Railay Bay Beach lays just 10 min-drive from Ao Nang and Krabi Town. Ko Lanta has a regular boat connection to Krabi area (2hour-drive for 500 THB/way, the boat leaves Saladan at 8 am or 1:30 pm). However, you can maket his trip by rented speedboat (10.000 THB/ boat – it takes 40 min then). The whole area of Railey Bay is in national park and you can get there only by boat. The climbers will enjoy amazing steep rocks which are 120m long, Ton Sai and West Railay Beach with Phranang Cave (cave of fertility), lagoon inside the cave which is accessible by ropes, view point of Railay Bay, lot of bars and local restaurants, acommodation right at the beach…On the way you should also visit beautiful Poda Island and Chicken Island.
